| Req ID 46642BR Business Title Test Engineer Group SEAT Location USA VIRGINIA Arlington Clearance Level Needed Secret Category Engineering & Support Services Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidate will work as a part of a team of government and contractor support personnel supporting the test and evaluation of systems in the research & development or developmental/operational test phases. As part of the Test & Evaluation Team, responsibilities may include: -Assists in Key Performance Parameters definition /allocation and requirements verification strategy development for nuclear detection systems throughout the front end requirements analysis phase. -Reviews and provides test inputs to acquisition documents to include performance specifications, Critical Operational Issues, Measures of Effectiveness, Measures of Performance, etc. -Prepares Test & Evaluation documentation including but not limited to Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), TestPlans, Test Reports and supports the analysts in the development of Quicklook presentations and analysis as required. - Supports government Test Manager and Test Director in the test planning and test execution phases. -Supports major test reviews, milestone decisions and briefings, and assists in the resolution of major issues.
Requires 7-9 years of direct relevant experience performing analysis, engineering and/or test and evaluation functions. The candidate should possess some level of experience in serving as a member of a multi-disciplinary team conducting highly analytical functions. A background in physics or nuclear engineering is beneficial. Understanding of Federal and State & Local Law Enforcement operational environments such as Land/Border crossings, US Ports of Entry, Seaports, and/or Maritime pathways is desired. Must have superior writing and oral communication skills. The candidate must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or highly analytical field of study or have requisite job experience. Candidate must be eligible for a Secret clearance with capability to upgrade to a Top Secret clearance. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be capable of performing within a dynamic, quick-reaction environment.
