| General Summary:
Under general supervision from the Logistics Manager, this individual will drive a delivery van or automobile within the New York City metro area to deliver meals to schools and pick up supplies as necessary.
Principle Duties and Responsiblities:
* Assemble and load meals into the delivery vehicles
* Ensure food safety during the loading and transport of meals
* As directed, deliver meals and snacks to schools in a timely manner
* Pick up other supplies as necessary
* Drive safely and avoid parking tickets
* Maintain a pleasant, professional and helpful relationship with the schools
* Collect feedback from clients
Job Specifications:
* Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license and must have a clean driving record. Must be conversant in English. Spanish is a plus.
* Skills: Good driving and parking skills, and familiarity with New York City is a must.
* Abilities: Must be well organized, pay attention to detail, be able to multi-task, function well in a team, and work calmly and effectively in a fast moving and stressful enviornment
* Behavior: This candidate must share our passion for nutrition and healthy lifestyles. They must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and be a team player.
* Other: Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
